Activity Reports
The following activity reports are available:
Activity Commission
Report
Use the Activity Commission report to view all activities under each
activity code with the amount of commissions generated. To evaluate the
amount of commission generated by each employee, choose Who/Owner
as the major sort option.
- In Layouts, delete the
current Major Sort sections,
then drag and drop Who/Owner
Code into the Major Sorts
field.
- In Layouts, insert a Total function
into the Major Sort Footer
to calculate total commission generated by each CSR.
Activity
Declination Report
Use the Activity Declination report to view all activity entries that
have been closed unsuccessfully for a given period of time or account.
Use it to find patterns in declinations to determine why they occurred.
The report provides insight into the changes necessary to improve your
agency's effectiveness by listing the reasons the efforts were ineffective.
This report helps you analyze and track submissions to create an effective
marketing strategy.
- The outputs include the details of both notes and tasks associated
with the activity. To run a report on the activity summaries only,
- Go to Layouts.
Remove the Detail sections
on Tasks,
Tasks notes,
and Activity
notes.
- You can generate reports that include all of the information available
on the activity and corresponding task entries and use this information
in the criteria to pare down the result set. For example, you can
run a report to find all activities on which a specific CSR has entered
a note.
- In Modify Criteria,
select the CSR
or multiple CSRs
you want for this report in the Who/Owner
criterion.
- In Modify Criteria >
Activity Notes, opt to
Include all
Activity Notes, Exclude
Task Notes, or Exclude
all Activity Notes.
- You can also generate reports that include all of the information
from the item with which the activity is associated, including the
transaction, claim, line of business, policy, cancellation, binder,
certificate, etc. For example, you can run a report that tells you
how many QUOT activities (if used by your agency) were performed and
the estimated premium and commission for each policy, major sorted
by policy type.
- In Modify Criteria > Activity
Code, select QUOT
only.
- In Layouts, delete
the current Major Sorts
sections and remove the Tasks
and Activity
notes Details
sections.

two redundant columns to free up some space, and then insert Data Columns of Premium Estimated and Commission Estimated into the Output
Builder as new columns.
- Drag and drop Data
Column Policy Type Code into the Major
Sorts field.
Activity Exceptions
The Activity Exceptions report lists activities that were not resolved
by their action dates (i.e., activities that are still open). This helps
you keep track of items that have not been acted on within a reasonable
timeframe. It enables you to view patterns in entries that are exceptions
to the norm and identify possible problems in the agency's workflow.
You can also use this report to obtain a list of all activities that
were or will be processed by the system using the Process
Activities procedure because they remain(ed) open past their system
action dates.
Activity Report
Use the Activity Report to view all activity entries for given period
of time or a specific account. It allows you to analyze the effectiveness
of the activity workflows on an activity-by-activity basis. The default
settings for this report show all activities (open and closed), but with
a minor criteria change, you can turn this report into a listing of items
to be followed up on in the near future.
