Forget Client Tracking

If your agency uses Epic Quotes, use the Forget Client Tracking utility to confirm that the Forget Client action has forgotten or anonymized a client’s Epic Quotes data as well as their account data. If the Forget Client action fails for Epic Quotes, you can retry the Forget Client action for Epic Quotes from this screen. To use this utility, your agency must have Epic Quotes.

View Forget Client Tracking records

Access the Forget Client Tracking utility to review a list of the instances in which the Forget Client action has run. You can filter the results that display, but you cannot remove any records from the list.

1. Access the Forget Client Tracking utility.
   1. To access Utilities form the Home screen, do one of the following:
   • Click Utilities on the navigation panel.
   • Click Areas > Utilities on the menubar.
   • Click the Home dropdown arrow on the options bar and select Utilities.

   From any other area of the program, do one of the following:

   • Click Areas > Utilities on the menubar.
   • Click the Home dropdown arrow on the options bar and select Utilities.

   2. Click Diagnostic on the navigation panel or Areas > Diagnostic on the menubar.

   3. Click Forget Client Tracking on the navigation panel.

2. Review the list of Forget Client records. You can collapse or expand list items, or filter the list using the Search where bar if necessary.

   Use the search bar to display records that meet specific criteria. Apply a single filter (using the search fields) or multiple filters (using the Edit Filter button ) to narrow the list of records.

   Selecting multiple criteria performs an "and" search (for example, failed instances within a specific Last Run Date range).

   

   1. Click the Edit Filter button .
   2. The Edit Filter pop-up window displays. Click the Add button to add filters.
   3. Select and/or enter your search criteria using the dropdown menus and fields. Click the Add button again to apply additional filters. Enter additional search criteria.

   Click the Delete button to remove a filter from the list.

   4. Click Finish when you have applied all desired filters.

   Hover over the Search where text to see the filter that is currently applied to the list.  

   

   To clear the currently applied filter (for the current session only) and start over, click the Clear Filter link label. The search bar displays in blue when filter are applied and in gray when filters are cleared.

   

   1. Make a selection in the first dropdown menu.
   2. The choices available in the second dropdown menu vary, depending on your selection in the first dropdown menu:
   • Equals: Enter the search criterion (e.g., the lookup code) in the field to the right, or select a date from the dropdown calendar (if applicable).
   • Begins With: Enter at least the first character of the search criterion.
   • Within Range: Search between two calendar dates. Click the down arrow to the right of each field to choose dates from the dropdown calendars.
   • Success/Failure: Opt to include or exclude successful or unsuccessful instances when you select Status in the first dropdown.
   3. Click Find to apply the filter. Hover over the Search where text to see the filter that is currently applied to the list.

   To clear the currently applied filter (for the current session only) and start over, click the Clear Filter link label. The search bar displays in blue when filters are applied and in gray when filters are cleared.

   1. To collapse a record, click the arrow beside it in the list.
   2. To expand a record, click the arrow beside it in the list.

Retry Forget Client for an Epic Quotes Failure

If the Forget Client action fails for Epic Quotes, a row in the list will display Failure in the Status column and Quotes in the Services Contacted column. In this situation, you can rerun the Forget Client action to remove client data from Epic Quotes.

1. Select a header row with Quotes in the Services Contacted column and Failed in the Status column.
2. Click the Retry button.

Print the Forget Client Tracking list

You can print the list of Forget Client attempts for Epic Quotes.

1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Print button .
• Click Print > Listview on the options bar.
• Click File > Print > Listview on the menubar.
2. Print the list as you would any other document.
