Record a Claim Note

Claim Notes include information such as documentation of conversations with adjustors.

  1. At Home Base click Clients & Files.
  2. Select Customers from the dropdown menu above the list.
  3. In the list, select the customer for whom you are recording a note and click the Claim List button.
  4. Select the claim.
  5. Click the Options button and select Claim Notes. The Claim Note List displays.
  6. Click Add.
  7. On the New Claim Note Detail screen, revise the Last Updated date if necessary. (The default is the current system date.) The current TAM user code defaults in the By field.
  8. Type a subject in the Regarding field.
  9. Type the body of the note in the field below.
  10. When you are finished, click OK.
  11. Click Yes to revise the record.

The number of notes displays on the Claim Detail screen.
