Dashboard Reports
Dashboard Reports are set up through TAM Reports and displayed as graphical charts on the Dashboard. You can set up Dashboard Reports to run during Night Utility Job System or run immediately to display the most current data.
Dashboard reports are run for the purpose of displaying information on the Dashboard only and cannot be printed as a regular reports, but only as the displayed charts.
If no Dashboard Reports have been run, the Reports bay on the Dashboard does not display.
The following Report Choices are available for display on the Dashboard:
- Activity Report
- Aged Receivables
- Balance Sheet
- Book of Business - Order by Commission
- Book of Business Report
- Cash Journal Status
- Company Payables
- Income Statement
- Loss Ratio Report
- Production - Detail by Producer
- Production - Order by Commission
- Production - Quarterly
- Production - Summary Comparison by Producer
- Production - Year to Year
- Production Report
Run Dashboard Report Immediately
Use the following steps to run a report so that the most current information displays on the Dashboard.
- At Home Base, click Reports.
- Click Dashboard.
- Click a Report Choice (Activity Report, Aged Receivables, etc.).
- In the Output Destination frame, Data File, dBASEIV is automatically selected. Leave this as is.
- Click the Criteria tab.
- Select the report criterion to modify (e.g., Agency), and then click Modify Criteria.
- Select the criteria options as desired, then click OK.
- Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you are satisfied with the settings.
- Click Run on the button bar. Once the report runs, the most current information for the report appears in its corresponding chart on the Dashboard.
Repeat the steps above to run additional Dashboard Reports.
Queue Dashboard Report to Run with Night Utility Job System
Use the following steps to set up Dashboard Reports to run during Night Utility Job System.
Note: In order for these reports to run with Night Utility Job System, you must select Dequeue Reports on the Night Utility Job System Setup screen.
- At Home Base, click Reports.
- Click Dashboard.
- Click a Report Choice (Activity Report, Aged Receivables, etc.).
- In the Output Destination frame, click Queue Report.
- Click the Criteria tab.
- Select the report criterion to modify (e.g., Agency), and then click Modify Criteria.
- Select the criteria options as desired, then click OK.
- Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you are satisfied with the settings.
- Click Run on the button bar. In this case, because you selected Queue Report in step 4, the report is moved to the queue and will not be processed until Night Utilities runs.
- To view the queue, on the TAM Reports screen, click Queue. The queued report displays in the Report Choices window.
Note: To remove a report from the queue, right click on the report in the Report Choices window and select Delete Report.
Repeat the steps above to queue additional Dashboard Reports to run during Night Utility Job System.
Once the reports you queue run with Night Utility, they are not removed from the queue, but remain there to run with the next Night Utility Job System. If you no longer want to run a report with Night Utility Job System, delete it from the queue. (See Note above.)
