User Setup
Use the following steps to access the User Setup options.
- At Home Base, click the Tools menu and select User Setup.
- The User Setup Options screen appears. Click the tabs to select the desired options.
Startup Tab
Select the options on the Startup tab as desired, then click OK to save your changes.
Settings Tab
Select the options on the Settings tab as desired, then click OK to save your changes.
- Message Scroll Speed: Click and drag the slider to adjust the speed of the scrolling message on Home Base.
- Activity Follow-up Time: Click to enable and select a time for the Activity Follow-up Reminder.
- Local Time Zone (appears only for users connecting via Terminal Services Client): Select the time zone of your current location in order to view the correct time on Activity Detail screens and printed activities. See Define Local Time Zone. Check the Use Daylight Saving Time checkbox if applicable.
- Attachment Drill Down: Check to enable the attachment drill down for activities to take the user directly to the image or file in view only mode.
- Mail Setup: Type auto signatures for new mail and for replies/forwarded mail.
- Fax Setup: Click to specify printer drivers considered fax drivers by TAM applications.
- Timer Setup: Click to specify items to automatically update at fixed intervals.
Double Click Tab
Select the options on the Double Click tab as desired, then click OK to save your changes.
- Client List: Click Client Detail to go to the Client Detail screen when you double click a Client List item. Click Policy List to go to the Policy List screen when you double click a Client List item.
- Policy List: Click Billing Screen to go to the Billing Screen when you double click a Policy List item. Click Application to go to the Application when you double click a Policy List item.
Screen Defaults
Select the options on the Screen Defaults tab as desired, then click OK to save your changes.
- Client Number: Click Commercial to default to the commercial client number. Click Personal to default to the personal client number.
- Policy List: Click Effective Date to list policies by Effective Date. Click Expiration Date to list policies by Expiration Date.
- Claim List: Click Issuing Company to list claims by Issuing Company. Click Billing Company to list claims by Billing Company.
- Use Custom Filter on List Screens: Click this checkbox to activate Custom Filter default settings when viewing list screens.
- Stack Screens: Place screens above each other when multiple sessions are open.
- Automatically Save Applications: Automatically save applications upon switching tabs, exiting, changing risks, or changing nonscheduled risks.
- Hide Market Appetite on Homebase: Removes access to Market Appetite from the Home Base screen by hiding the Appetite button.
