Insert a TAM Attachment into an Email

If you are using the TAM Integrated Email, use the following workflow to insert TAM attachments into an email. The attachment can be any file that can be attached to an entity in TAM, e.g., document, fax, email. See the TAM Outlook Add-In article for information on using the Insert TAM Attachments option to insert attachments when composing an email in Microsoft Outlook.

  1. On the New Mail Message screen, click the Insert TAM Attachments button .
  2. Select an Entity Type.
  3. Double click in the Entity Code field, select the appropriate entity in the list, and click OK.
  4. Click Find Attachments.
  5. Select the attachment to be included with the email.
  6. Click the down arrow to move the selection to the Selected Attachments list.
  7. Repeat until all desired attachments are in the Selected Attachments list.
  8. Click Insert.
  9. A file-specific icon(s) and the file name(s) display on the Attachment line of the email.
