Servicing Roles Configuration

Use this feature to add, edit, or delete codes for servicing roles (e.g., Producer, Account Manager, Claims Representative). These codes allow you to assign people to servicing roles in the Servicing Contacts area on policies, and customer accounts. These roles define responsibilities at your brokerage and provide at-a-glance information on who is responsible for an account or policy.

Important! Applied CSR24 users should contact Customer Support before making any changes to Servicing Roles to ensure that CSR24 configuration aligns with updates you make.

Please note that the Producer servicing role does not automatically receive commission. See Edit Employee Detail for more information on how to set up a commissionable producer.

1. From the Home screen, do one of the following:
   
   • Click Configure on the navigation panel.
   • Click Areas > Configure on the menubar.
   • Click the down arrow next to Home on the options bar and select Configure.

From any other area of the program, do one of the following:

1. • Click the down arrow to the right of the Home options bar button and select Configure.
   • Click Home > Configure on the menubar. The Configure screen displays.

2. Click Account on the navigation panel or Areas > Account on the menubar.
3. Click Servicing Roles on the navigation panel. On this screen you can:
   
   • Add a Servicing Role
     1. Do one of the following:
        • Click the Add button to the left of the code list.
        • Click New > Servicing Role on the options bar.
        • Click File > New > Servicing Role on the menubar.
        • Press [Insert].
     2. Enter the Code.
     3. Select the Display at account level checkbox to assign an employee to an servicing role on the Servicing tab in Client detail. This enables your assigned servicing contacts to default when you perform policies so you do not need to enter them each time you perform these workflows.
     4. Select the Display at service level checkbox to display the servicing role displays on the Servicing tab in Client Contracts Services Detail.
     5. The active language displayed in the Language dropdown menu matches your Primary Language in Regional Settings Configuration.
     6. Enter a Description of the servicing role.
        1. If more than one language is available, the Description you enter populates for every language.
        2. To change the Description that displays in a different language, select the Language from the list or the dropdown menu and enter a Description.
        3. The Update matching descriptions in other languages option defaults as checked or unchecked based on your previous selection for it. This option cannot be changed during this workflow.
     7. In the Type of Business section, select the checkboxes that apply to the role.
     8. Click Finish or press [Enter] to complete the record.
        
        Click Add to add this record and create another one.
        
        Click Cancel or press [Esc] to exit the workflow without saving changes. You are prompted, "Do you wish to discard changes?" Click Yes.
   • Edit a Servicing Role
     1. Click the servicing role to be changed in the list, and then do one of the following:
        • Click the Edit button to the left of the list.
        • Click File > Open on the menubar.
        • Double click the Servicing Role.
     2. Edit the Code and checkbox selections.
     3. Edit the Description.
        1. If you select the Update matching descriptions in other languages checkbox and descriptions for languages match, changes to one description match other description after you click Finish. Deselect this checkbox if you prefer to update each description individually.
     4. Click Finish or press [Enter] to complete the record.
        
        Click Add to add this record and create another one.
        
        Click Cancel or press [Esc] to exit the workflow without saving changes. You are prompted, "Do you wish to discard changes?" Click Yes.
   • Delete a Servicing Role

     You can only delete the last servicing role. To delete a different role, you must delete all roles below it and re-enter them.
     
     You cannot delete servicing roles that are assigned to employees.

     1. Click the servicing role and do one of the following:
        • Click the Delete button to the left of the code list.
        • Click File > Delete on the menubar.
        • Press [Delete].
     2. You are prompted, "Do you wish to delete this record?" Click Yes.
   • Print a List of Servicing Roles
     1. To print a list of the servicing roles, do one of the following:
        • Click the Print button to the left of the list.
        • Click Print > Listview on the options bar.
        • Click File > Print > Listview on the menubar.
     2. Print like any other document.
