Programing Languages Supported by Customer Services

Applied Epic SDK conforms to the WS-I basic profile so it is capable of being consumed by a wide variety of programming languages/platforms. However, the concept of backward compatibility in SDK works best when using .NET languages.

The cost of maintaining programs consuming Applied Epic SDK can be significantly reduced by utilizing backwards compatibility. In the Versioning Technical Guide, there are details about backwards compatibility loss occurring with certain other programming languages.

We fully understand it may not be possible to use the .NET platform for your development needs, but we strongly recommend it, not just to take fully advantage of backward compatibility but also because all samples and support are provided exclusively using the .NET platform.
