Workflow Editor enables you to create custom workflow wizards or edit existing workflow wizards. You can then access them through the Workflow Wizard or assign them to custom buttons you create through MyTAM Button Editor. These buttons are added to the MyTAM toolbar for easy access.
The Workflow Editor screen lists workflows on the left side of the screen and displays Properties for the selected workflow on the right:
In the Show section, click All Workflows to display all shared workflows, or My Workflows to display only the workflows you have created.
The following buttons display at the bottom of the screen:
To determine whether a workflow is classified as a Workflow or Library, select the workflow and click the appropriate radio button in the This is a frame. (Libraries are groups of similar worksteps; for example, the Creators library contains worksteps that involve adding a new file to the system, and the Editors library contains worksteps that involve editing existing files. Workflows are groups of worksteps meant to be performed in the specified order.)
To determine whether or not this workflow should be shared with other users in your organization, select the workflow and click the appropriate radio button in the Share this Workflow frame.
To save the selected workflow to your computer or a network location, click File > Export. The Save As screen displays, allowing you to navigate to the desired location, enter a File Name, and press Save.
To import a locally saved workflow into TAM, click File > Import. The Open screen displays, allowing you to browse for the workflow file and click Open.
To assign a myTAM button to a workflow, see myTAM Button Editor.
