Dial and Log a Call

In order to use this option, you must have a modem set up for your station and a phone attached to the modem. You also need to have the correct phone number entered on the recipient's detail screen.

  1. From the Call History List, click Options > Dial and Log a Call.
  2. If you have not previously performed Modem Parameter Setup for this station, the Modem Parameter Setup window displays. If you have already set up your modem, proceed to step 3.
  3. The Dial a Call window displays. Review the phone number (pulled from the recipient's detail screen and preceded by the prefix specified in Modem Parameter Setup) and make any necessary changes.
  4. Click OK to dial.
  5. The Dialing [number] screen displays, instructing you, "After connecting, pick up phone and press OK or CANCEL to quit and hang up."
  6. If you click OK, the Log a Call screen displays. Fill this screen out upon completion of the call.
