Transaction List
Invoices are entered and viewed through the Transaction List.
- At Home Base click Clients & Files.
- Select Customers, Brokers, Lienholders, or Finance Companies from the dropdown menu above the list.
- In the list, select the entity whose transactions you want to view and click the Invoices button.
Navigate between the following tabs:
- General: View transactions that have been processed (this generally happens at close day).
- Pending (Customers only): View transactions that have not yet been processed.
- Filter: View a limited list of transactions based on criteria you define in a filter. See Filter Transaction List for more information.
General transactions (and transactions listed using a filter) are listed by Transaction Date, Transaction Type, Policy Type, Effective Date, Bill Mode, Company Paid Status, Description, and Amount.
The first column denotes if there is a Split Transaction (*), and if there is a Combined Tax Transaction (+). Clicking the + will expand the transaction to show the Premium Transaction and the Tax Transaction (L).
Pending transactions are listed by Print Date, Transaction Type, Effective Date, Month, Description, and Amount.
A summary of the selected transaction displays in the sidebar on the right side of the screen.
- Item # (General transaction only): Item number
- Invoice # (General transaction only): Invoice number
- Plan#/Seq# (Pending transaction only): Installment plan number and sequence number (number of the transaction)
- Policy: Policy number
- Bill Mode: Policy bill mode (Agency or Direct)
- Acct Mo: Accounting month
- Binder: Binder bill indicator button
- OPID: Operator ID
- Due Date: Invoice due date
- Billing Co: Billing company (Code and Name)
- Issuing Co: Issuing company (Code and Name)
- Lienholder: Lienholder (Code and Name)
- Amount: Item amount
- Balance (General Transaction only): Item balance
Click Previous or Next to view the Transaction List for the previous or next entity in the list.
Click Detail to display the Update Transactions screen.
Click Options to access the following workflows:
The remaining options vary depending on the entity type you are viewing.
Click Cancel to close the Transaction List screen.
