Data Preview Output Destination

Data Preview is one of the most frequently used output destinations. It allows you to preview and manipulate the raw data set from which the report is built.

When you run a report with Data Preview selected, you are prompted, The data shown in the data preview is the raw data set that the report will be built from. It may not reflect the final report output. To preview the final results, select 'Report' as the output destination and the answer 'No' to 'Send Output to Printer?' Continue with Data Preview?

Click Yes to continue. The raw data displays in a Data Preview window.

Use the scroll bars to view the data selections.

Click Options to display Data Preview options:
Note: Options is currently only available in TAM Classic Reports.

• Sort Result
• Filter Result (opens Expression Builder)
• Print File Structure
• Edit Report Format (only available for user-defined reports and searches)
• Save as User- Defined Report
• Save as Month-End Report

Click the Printer button to view the list of Output Destinations.

Select an Output Destination and click OK to run the report.
