Quotes List

The Quotes list displays all In Progress and Sold quotes you can access for the selected client. From this list, you can begin a new business quote, perform an action on an existing quote (for example, editing, copying, or deleting it), or remarket an existing policy. This screen also provides a summary of risk detail from the Quoting Session and a list of carrier rates for each quote, with access to the Quote Results.

Quotes created before February 2, 2023 do not display values in the Agency, Branch, Department, and Profit Center columns as the Epic structure was not applied to them within the Quotes list. From the Quotes area, as previous to the structure update, you can only view the structure values for quotes created prior to February 2 in the mark as sold workflow on the Accept Quote window.

If you access the Quotes list for a client with no existing quotes, the Quote Information screen displays automatically for you to start a new business quote.

Quotes in the list have one of the following statuses:

• In Progress: You have not yet marked the quote as Sold, which means that no corresponding policy exists for it yet.
• Sold: The client chose to purchase the policy you quoted and you have marked the quote as Sold, creating a corresponding policy in the client’s Policies list.

Sorting the list

To locate a specific quote more easily, click the column heading by which you want to sort the list. Click the column heading again to change the sort order (from ascending to descending or vice versa).

Performing a Quote Action

The buttons to the left of the Quotes list enable you to do the following:

• Add a Quote: Click the Add button to start a new business quote and proceed to the Quote Information window
• Edit a Quote: Select a quote in the list and click the Edit/View button (or double click on the quote) to open the Quoting Session screen to the quote’s risk detail.
• Copy a Quote: Select a quote in the list and click the Copy button , or right click on the quote and select Copy Quote from the dropdown menu. Click Continue to Copy on the pop-up message to proceed to Quote Information.
  
  Copying a quote copies the full data capture (excluding Quoting Results rates) from the existing quote to a new business quote for the same line of business. Only the Application and Address information copy to a new quote for a different line of business.
• Delete a Quote: Select a quote with any status and click the Delete button , or right click on a quote in the list and select Delete Quote from the dropdown menu.  When prompted, confirm the deletion.
  
  To delete all quotes on the client’s account, right click the Delete button and select Delete All Quotes from the dropdown menu. When prompted, confirm the deletion. Only the quotes you have access to are deleted from the Quotes list
  
  Note: If you delete the only quote in the list, the Quote Information window displays automatically after you confirm the deletion. Click Cancel to close the window if you do not want to add a new quote.
• Export All Quote Data (Quote Admin users only): Click the Export All Quote Data button to export a spreadsheet of quotes and their risk information for this client. When prompted, confirm the export and save the CSV file.

To begin remarketing a policy from the Quotes list, click the Remarket Existing Policy link label in the header and select a policy from the dropdown menu.

Viewing Quote Details

The Quote Details section below the list displays a summary of the application detail for the selected quote, which you can edit if necessary.

Viewing Carrier Rates

The same carrier rates that display on the Quote Results screen for the selected quote display below the Quotes list (if the quote has already been rated). If the quote is marked Sold, the rate selected for the policy displays in green.

Click the View Quote Results link label in the Carrier Rates header or double click on a carrier rate in the Carrier Rates list to open the Quote Results screen.
