System Generated Attachment Configuration

System-generated attachments are automatically attached in the system without user intervention. This function allows you to specify how and where these attachments are saved. All attachments generated by the same Attachment System Event will save with the attachment attributes defined for it in this area. Before using this feature, make sure that the folders you want to use have been created in Attachment Folder Configuration.

You cannot add, edit, or delete the list of system events or their attachments, but you have the option to define attachment information for the system events. Unless you select other options, system-generated attachments are saved as Public at the root level in your folder hierarchy (unless the system event has a preset default folder) and are not client-accessible.

All system events for all markets display in this area. You may disregard any events that are not applicable to your country of operation, as the workflows that initiate them are not available to users in your system. Note: This article contains printing instructions that are only applicable if Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer. If you access Epic through a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, you cannot print directly from within the system.   1. Click Attachment on the navigation panel or Areas > Attachment on the menubar.

  2. Click System Generated Attachments on the navigation panel.
