Vouchers

The following workflows are available in this area:

• Add a Voucher
• Edit/View a Voucher
• Pay a Voucher
• Print Cheques
• Transfer of Funds
• Void a Voucher

The following reports can be accessed from this area:

• Allocation Entries
• Default/Recurring Entries
• General Ledger Register
• Status of Accounts

To access the Vouchers area, follow the steps below.

1. From the Home screen, do one of the following:
   • Click General Ledger on the navigation panel.
   • Click Areas > General Ledger on the menubar.
   • Click the down arrow next to Home on the options bar and select General Ledger.

From another area of the program, do one of the following:

• Click Home > General Ledger on the menubar.
• Click the down arrow next to Home on the options bar and select General Ledger.

2. Click Vouchers on the navigation panel or Areas > Vouchers on the menubar.

     The navigation panel is on the left side of the screen.

     

     The navigation panel consists of the following buttons:

     1. • General Ledger Home
        • Receipts
        • Disbursements
        • Vouchers

        • Reconciliations

        • Import
        • Export
        • Activities
   • List

     Vouchers matching the criteria selected in the filter display in the list. To sort by a different column, click the column heading by which you wish to sort. Click one more time to change the sort order (from ascending to descending, or vice versa).

     Detail for the highlighted voucher displays below the list.

     Search Bar

     To locate vouchers that match specific criteria, use the search bar. Make a selection in each dropdown menu to locate the desired item. The fields vary, depending on the options you choose.

      

     These are the choices in the first dropdown menu:

     1. 3. Account Code
        4. Account Name
        5. Accounting Month
        6. Amount
        7. Bank Account
        8. Date Entered
        9. Descripiton
        10. Due Date
        11. Entered By
        12. Export Batch #
        13. Exported By
        14. Exported Date
        15. GL Schedule
        16. Invoice #
        17. Paid Status
        18. Payee
        19. Posted By
        20. Posted Date
        21. Refer #
        22. Site ID

     The choices available in the second dropdown list vary, depending on the selection you made in the first dropdown.

     1. 4. Equals: Enter the search criterion (e.g., the full description or folder name) in the field to the right, or select the correct date from the dropdown calendar (if applicable). Click Find.
        5. Contains: Enter at least one letter or digit of the desired criterion.
        • Within Range: Search between two different calendar dates of your choice. Click the down arrow to the right of each field to choose dates from the dropdown calendars. Click Find.

        To see the filter that is currently applied to the list, hover over the Search where text.
